Calling all Maypole pupils / ex pupils / teachers / ex teachers and anyone associated with the current / old Maypole School
Throughout the year the children will mark the occasion in various ways, ending with the grand finale the Centenary Festival to be held on Saturday 20th July, 4pm-8pm. The event will consist of live music, kids entertainment and the finals of our Maypole X Factor competition - presented from a professional stage! Elsewhere on the field and playground will be stalls, food, refreshments, inflatables and lots more for all the family.
Also at the Centenary Festival, there will be a Maypole History Exhibition in the school hall, which will include work the pupils have been working on. More importantly, we want to have more history/material/photos and memories about Maypole school.
The aim is to invite as many ex pupils and teachers back to share the event.
On this occasion I think that we can share the centenary celebrations with our annual Maypolehistory summer walkabout as most (if not all of you) attended the old school. The current Maypole School address is
